Posted August 2 – We just had our 10th Annual Arnett Block Party yesterday, and it was a great success! The weather was perfect, volunteers and participants arrived early to set up, the street was closed off, and the neighborhood moved in! We had Happy the Clown, free hot dogs with chips and all the fixings, drinks, story time, Airplay Juggler Jeff Peden, free books, free raffle prizes, horse rides in the street, The Magic Guy, free sunglasses from Embracing Options, health booth, tours of a Rural Metro Ambulance, a Fire Safety mock burning house, RPD canine corps, free bike repairs, Child ID, hula hoop and jump rope contest, Lions of Judah dance, sewing project, and on and on.
