SewGreen Grand Opening!

Have you always wished you knew how to sew?

SewGreen Rochester held their Grand Opening at their new sewing store and learning center at 264-268 Arnett Boulevard on Saturday, December 5, and scores of people from the neighborhood came by to find out what they were up to and offer their congratulations. It was a wonderful event, and now all you have to do is go visit yourself and either donate or get some sewing supplies (or both).

Sewing has so many benefits—you can mend your own clothes, make gifts for family and friends, even create a new outfit you’ll be proud to wear.

Now there’s a place in Rochester where you can learn to do it all—and you can even get the fabrics and notions you need, at a fraction of the cost you’d pay in retail stores.

At SewGreen, anyone in the greater Rochester community can learn the basics of sewing, and even use one of the shop’s sewing machines to make all kinds of wonderful things.

Why donate?

Materials you donate are used in our sewing classes; resold in our store to support our program; or used for charitable sewing projects. Donations are tax-deductible and keep materials out of the landfill.
