2016 Music Series
This year’s neighborhood Music Series, sponsored by the Arnett Branch Library Friends, has been a great success!
Join us for the last concert in our series of family-friendly music events featuring a wide variety of music styles and instruments. Interactive, educational, and fun – sure to delight people of all ages!
Refreshments and a time of fellowship and meeting the musicians will follow the program.
The April concert
What: This month’s program will focus on young musicians. We will have Isaac Pollock from the 19th ward play classical guitar. Isaac lives with his parents in our neighborhood and wowed us all at the Porch Fest. Then we have students from Hochstein Student Ensembles who will be sharing their musical talent. However, the program we advertised initially was for the Hochstein Rock Band. Unfortunately they are not able to come and perform for us as planned. Instead a duet of violin and cello, Jonathan and Epongue, will be playing chamber music for us. For some that will be good news, for others a disappointment, but come check it out!
Refreshments following the performance. Hope to see you there!
When: April 9 from 12-1 pm
