The Arnett Block Association hosted their annual Christmas event last night at 6:00 pm in the Arnett Bird & Butterfly Garden on the corner of Wellington and Arnett. A hearty group of adults and children gathered for an early evening of caroling around an open fire, cooking s’mores, eating popcorn with cocoa, and having fun with other neighbors and friends. A Visit From School 29 A big thank you goes out to the Arnett Branch Library, the Arnett Friends, the Rochester Fire Department, New Life Fellowship Church and the kids and grownups from Adlai Stevenson School #29 for decorating this year’s community Christmas tree in the garden park at the corner of Arnett and Wellington today! Back to School Outreach Last Saturday, September 23 the Lydia’s Closet ministry joined us at 350 Arnett Boulevard for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. The weather was perfect for playing some mini-golf and meeting new friends! Neighbors were able to shop for clothes for their children in a wonderful selection of gently used children’s clothing.
