Beverley visiting

For over 30 years

His Branches has been encouraging and helping support a Canadian woman, Beverley Timgren, who has been a faithful and quiet witness to the love and resurrection power of Jesus in the Middle East for decades. Dr. Bill first met Beverley at a celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem sponsored by the International Christian Embassy-Jerusalem (ICEJ) in 1982. She was in the process of being called as a dental hygienist to serve the people of war-torn South Lebanon at the very time we were discovering that the Lord wanted our ministry to be involved in the same area.

Over the next few years His Branches and Beverley worked together to establish a medical and dental clinic in Marjayoun, just across the northern border of Israel not far from the “Good Fence” at Metulla. We sent a missionary family, John and Karen Seaman and their children, to build the clinic and Beverley served alongside them doing dental outreach in the surrounding communities and staffing a dental hygiene clinic in the same outpatient facility. John and Karen came back but Beverley stayed, and the work she has done tirelessly over the decades since then in South Lebanon and Israel has been remarkable.

In recent years most of Beverley’s involvement has been at the Bethlehem Bible College among the Palestinians living in the village where Jesus was born. She has also served around the world teaching English as a second language and sharing the gospel in word, deed, and by example.

Beverley is back in North America and will be arriving in Rochester this Sunday June 12 to visit us for 3 days.We would love to have you meet her and find out more about what the Lord is doing in Israel. Just email Susan to find out how you can see Beverley while she’s here!
